Upon landing and going through customs in Honduras, it was conflicting. I was happy to be in my much loved country, yet so much desolation could be perceived. Many people were around the airline counters wanting to "help" carry your luggage, and in their own words "no tourist, no jobs, no money". At the waiting area to fly to La Ceiba, I was the only person waiting there, stayed almost by myself around three and a half hours, the airline was waiting for american airlines with the hope more passengers would come, finally we left and I arrived at 4:PM at Golozon, that´s the La Ceiba airport.
Poverty is more visible than ever and the political situation is not getting any better. I pray the good Lord will have mercy and compassion for my poor poor country. will write later.
