BACK AGAIN!!

I am back!! got stomach viruses for a while and now am just fine, thank God.
This weekend is "election day" on the 29th to be precise, some are enthusiastic, others are not; but hopefully this political turmoil will be over soon and may 2010 be a better year for Honduras. As it is common, it is the working people who suffer with social unrest, unemployment, etc. I write over and over: poverty is so much more visible, the needs are right there in front of you wherever one goes.
Right now it is raining very hard, a cold front has been announced, so the temp. will go down, which will make it really nice. The TV news are showing right now, some hand made bombs which were placed on a public bus, thank God nobody was hurt; there are soldiers all over, that doesn't make our country look too good and as I mentioned, hopefully this political situation will soon be over.
I will contact Rina Simon who helps at the senior homeless shelter as I want to volunteer to help her make that place a more comfortable and larger home for the needy old people.
So, in general, La Ceiba is quiet, not being a political center, makes it a more laid back place to live and for that I am grateful, and praise the Lord. To my Real Life Group in Round Rock, Tx. please keep me in your prayers, as I need them more than ever. Will continue
